    Norwegian Army Cap – Worn in Combat in 1940 This cap was part of the standard equipment of Norwegian soldiers during Operation Weserübung in 1940. Soldiers fighting in the harsh Norwegian climate wore headgear made of material in various shades of grey

    Interesting fact: These caps witnessed one of the first ever integrated operations of the German armed forces – land, air and sea, during the campaigns in Norway and Denmark.
