Field rogatywka of the Home Army district of Vilnius
Not all corner caps were sewn before the war, a large part of them came from underground production in Vilnius tailoring workshops or came from the needles employed by rural partisans of tailors. Corner caps sewn at that time were distinguished primarily by the lack of a buckle, replaced for ease by a belt loop made of fabric, and in some cases a slightly deformed shape.
The eagles on the caps most likely came from our own production, some of them were certainly pre-war eagles of various designs, including not only military ones, but also various organizations and state services.
