Privates' forage cap 1816-1830

Used in the army of the Kingdom of Poland, it differed from the officer's by the lack of a peak, it was characterized by insets, sometimes a rim in the color of the weapon or regiment.

It was worn off duty. The prominent upper part was sewn from uniform cloth with an inset on the edge. The rim was in the color of the lapels worn in the regiment. From 1826, the grenadiers of the guard, sappers, foot artillery, line infantry and foot riflemen placed their company number on these caps. These forage caps were also used during the November Uprising by the insurgents.
