SS service cap-early war

The SS service cap of the 1939 German army was a distinctive part of their uniform. It was made of light felgrau wool often decorated with silver or gold elements such as the eagle and insignia. Its shape was reminiscent of an officer's cap, with a distinctive peak and spike. The SS cap was a symbol of the power and authority of this paramilitary organisation during the Third Reich.
