Caps of the 4th Polish Rifle Division

In 1917, after the February Revolution, the Russian authorities began to systematically change the liberal regulations regarding Polish units in Russia, so Polish signs in the form of an eagle with a crown on caps began to appear, as well as the colors of weapons referring to the historical national cavalry in cavalry units and more . The Polish uniform of units in the east began to differ dramatically from the Russian one, for example, the cap used in the 4th Polish Rifle Division was created in the 2nd Polish Corps in Russia. The cut was very similar to Maciejówka, but the visor was typical of the tsar's cap, it had an amaranth rim and a dummy chin strap made of cloth in the color of the head (pea shade), and the most important element was the eagle in the crown, after which it was possible to recognize the Polish Soldier.

Attention ! The price applies to the hat without the eagle, the eagle is available from spikedhelmets or from us after prior contact.
