The cap is commonly used in the Corps of General Dwobor-Muśnicki in Russia, mainly in the Polish Rifle Divisions and in other services of the Corps in the form visible in the photo or after adding colored rims and insets. Cap used since 1917. It was based on the caps of the tsarist army, but differed significantly in the visor and chin strap, which was made of both fabric and leather. The main element determining belonging to the Polish Corps was a specially designed eagle. Also used after the dissolution of the Corps by soldiers of the Polish Army, min. in the Vilnius region, where the Vilnius Regiments of Riflemen and Lancers used these caps until they received the prescribed uniforms.
