    Krechowiecki Uhlan Regiment Cap.

A cap introduced in 1917 for the 1st Uhlan Regiment, Uhlan Division.

of the Gen. Dowbor-Muśnicki Corps, unlike other corps caps, had an amaranth rim and a sewn-on white trim along the edge of the peak. An unusual and at the same time characteristic identification mark, apart from a special sabre pattern, was an eagle designed only for this unit, called "Krechowiecki".

A cap used in the 1st PU also appeared sporadically after the introduction of the new "Angielka" pattern in 1920. It disappeared with the wear and tear of this uniform type
