The cap of the Central Lithuanian Hussars.
In the second half of 1920. The volunteer unit of the "death hussars" was incorporated into the army of Central Lithuania. This also brought about a change in the uniform of the unit, the former cavalry pennants were replaced by triangular ones and, in addition to the furs, an English cap appeared.
These caps were sewn from khaki cloth with a black brim and two white tabs, one around the bottom and the other above the brim. Under the small eagle or on the shield of the large one wz 19 there was a dead head " totenkopf " which was a distinctive mark of the unit from the beginning of its existence .
