Post-war railway cap.
After the end of hostilities in 1945, it was decided that the clothing regulations introduced before 1939 would apply on the railway.
The pattern of the cap remained unchanged - pre-war, but there were some structural changes and simplifications dictated by the post-war reality.
First of all, the visor and liner were made of other materials. The insignia was characterized by great diversity, but above all, the eagle was deprived of the crown.
Often, railwaymen in this period had to complete their uniforms themselves and the only indicator of their service was the cap.
